AMARA I: Itinerary Mandalay – Bagan (2 nights, 3 days)

Embark the Amara River Cruise at 08:00 am. Cruise to Inwa (Ava). Visit the Nan Myint Watch Tower -the only remaining palace building nicknamed”leaning tower of Ava”; Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery – built of brick and stucco, and the all-teak and carved Bagaya Monastery.We continue to sail downstream and stop near Yandapo. Dinner and overnight onboard. (Meals: – / L / D)

In the early morning, visit the Yandapo village. This is a small rural village that is well known for a treaty signed here between the British and Burmese in 1826. Now the village is famous for its handmade terracotta pots produced in traditional ways.After sightseeing,cruise to the shore of Mt. Tangyi. Drive up to Mt. Tantgyi in the afternoon, where you can enoy a wonderful view from the Pagoda to Bagan across the river. Dinner and overnight onboard. (Meals: B / L / D )

In the early morning, set sail and arrive at the Bagan Jetty. Disembark at 08:00 am.

AMARA II: Itinerary Mandalay – Bagan (3 nights, 4 days)

Embark the Amara River Cruise at 08:00 am. We sail north of Mandalay along Ayeyarwaddy River to Mingun to view the with the Mingun Bell, weighing 90 tones and the biggest hanging, undamaged bell in the world; Shin Phyume Pagoda, and the unfinished Mingun Pagoda, a colossal brick monument.  After sightseeing in Mingun we set sail to Sagaing and we visit Sagaing Hill in the afternoon by car.  Enjoy dinner on deck.

After sunrise,cruise to Inwa (Ava).Visit the Nan Myint Watch Tower -the only remaining palace building nicknamed”leaning tower of Ava”; Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery – built of brick and stucco, and the all-teak and carved Bagaya Monastery. We continue to cruise downstream till Myinmu and visit the Shin Pin Shwe Luu Pagoda, built by King Ahthawka and rebuilt in 1885 after the second Anglo – Myanmar war. This village is full of merchants. Dinner and overnight onboard. (Meals: B / L / D)

In the early morning, cruise to visit Yandapo Village. This is a small rural village that is well known for a treaty signed here between the British and Burmese in 1826.
